Sustainability…
I am working really hard on using and obtaining materials that will be more sustainable and Earth friendly. One way is repurposing a lot of my old fabrics, buttons and yarns even clothes that I no longer use. This page here will show you some of my items that I have started to created. Hope you enjoy my journey.
Kitchenware
Some of items I am adding to my line will be items that will help with sustainability in your day to day in the kitchen:
scrubbies - stop using sponges that take years to
decompose
coasters - stop using disposable ones and are mass produced
dishcloths - use a dishcloth that is washable/dryable
sponge- this one is made of natural fiber and is
compostable
cup sleeves - stop using those paper sleeves!
Upcycle
Here you will see I took a typical clear vase that we all get with pretty flowers. Now you know we all tend to put these vases somewhere!
Well I took this one and used natural hemp some pretty flat glass beads and whalla!
Go ahead do the same with your vases!
